Office-Based with Flexibility Around Working Hours
A well-established, small boutique, client-focused financial planning firm in Fareham is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to support its continued growth.
This is a newly created position within a highly successful business that has been operating for over 25 years and currently manages approximately £170 million of client assets. Following significant growth over the last six months, the firm is looking to expand its technical support team and bring in a dependable paraplanner who wants to become a long-term part of the business.

The Role
Working closely with the advisers, you will be responsible for providing high-quality paraplanning support and helping to manage the suitability report process from client review through to recommendation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Writing suitability reports and client recommendation reports
- Reviewing client information following adviser meetings
- Preparing documentation for financial planning recommendations
- Producing cashflow models where appropriate
- Supporting technical research and analysis
- Assisting advisers with ongoing client planning requirements
- Maintaining accurate records using back-office systems
About You
The successful candidate will already have paraplanning experience within a financial planning or wealth management environment and be looking for a long-term opportunity within a stable, growing business.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Paraplanner position
- Progress towards the CII Level 4 Diploma (RO exams completed)
- Strong report writing skills
- Experience using Intelliflo
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive and flexible approach
- The ability to work closely within a small team environment
Experience with Quilter, FE Analytics and cashflow modelling software would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Arrangements
This role is primarily office-based in Fareham. The business values collaboration and team interaction, although there is flexibility around working hours. Typical working hours are based around a 7.5-hour day, with options such as 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:30am-5:30pm potentially available.
