An established and highly respected wealth management firm is seeking a Financial Planning Administrator / Junior Paraplanner to join its close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with financial planning administration experience who enjoys a varied role combining client administration and paraplanning support. Initially, the position is expected to be around 60% administration and 40% paraplanning, with the potential for the paraplanning element to grow into a full paraplanning position time.

You will join a collaborative business where everyone works together to deliver outstanding client service. The successful candidate will be a team player who is happy to get involved in all aspects of the client journey and support advisers, paraplanners and colleagues across the business.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and managing new business applications through to completion
  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
  • Preparing documentation and supporting annual review processes
  • Assisting with pension and investment research
  • Producing basic suitability and annual review reports
  • Supporting cashflow modelling and paraplanning activities
  • Liaising with clients, providers and advisers regarding ongoing cases
  • Tracking workflow and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
  • Producing monthly valuation reports
  • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative duties

About You

To be considered, you’ll ideally have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience within a Financial Planning, IFA or Wealth Management environment
  • Experience in financial planning administration
  • Working knowledge of Intelligent Office (IO)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • A proactive, positive and flexible approach to work
  • The ability to work independently whilst contributing to a team environment

Candidates who are working towards the Level 4 Diploma or have started professional qualifications will be particularly welcome, although this is not essential.

What’s on Offer?

  • Salary up to £38,000
  • Genuine opportunity to increase paraplanning responsibilities over time
  • Support with industry qualifications, including examination costs and study materials
  • 22 days annual leave, increasing with service up to 25 days
  • Company pension
  • Life insurance
  • Free onsite parking
  • Hybrid working available after successful completion of the initial six-month onboarding period
  • Friendly, supportive and collaborative working environment

Location

The role is currently based in High Wycombe .

If you’re an experienced financial planning administrator looking to expand your paraplanning skills, or a junior paraplanner who still enjoys being involved in the administration side of the advice process, we’d love to hear from you.
