The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated Junior Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in financial services administration or wealth management who is looking to progress their career into paraplanning.
You’ll work closely with experienced Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, providing technical support while developing your knowledge across pensions, investments and protection. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, alongside funding for professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of suitability reports.
- Conduct research on pensions, investments and protection products.
- Gather and analyse client information.
- Prepare illustrations and cashflow modelling.
- Support Financial Advisers and Paraplanners with technical queries.
- Liaise with providers, clients and third parties.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure FCA compliance.
- Assist with annual reviews and recommendation reports.
About You
- Experience within financial services, ideally as an IFA Administrator or Client Support Administrator.
- Working towards, or keen to study, the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
