Employee Benefits Administrator

Solent, Hampshire | Hybrid Working | Up to £35,000

A well-established and growing professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Administrator to join its Employee Benefits team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in employee benefits administration who enjoys providing a high level of service to clients while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both new and existing clients across a range of employee benefits schemes, ensuring all administration is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.

The Role

As an Employee Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and providing administrative support across a broad range of employee benefits arrangements.

Working closely with advisers, colleagues, providers, and senior stakeholders, you will help ensure smooth day-to-day scheme management and contribute to the ongoing development of client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality, professional, and client-focused service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process new and existing employee benefits business, including group risk and auto-enrolment schemes.
  • Produce suitability reports and other documentation throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Maintain employee benefit schemes, including:
    • Contribution uploads
    • Renewals
    • New joiners
    • Leavers
    • Scheme updates and amendments
  • Support monthly invoicing and fee reconciliation processes.
  • Assist with general office administration including correspondence, telephone enquiries, document management, and meeting preparation.
  • Ensure client records remain accurate, compliant, and maintained in line with regulatory and company standards.
  • Produce and manage management information (MI) reporting relevant to the team.
  • Use internal systems and software effectively, identifying and resolving data integrity issues where required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with providers, advisers, and internal colleagues.

About You

To be considered, you should have previous experience within an employee benefits administration role and a good understanding of the employee benefits market.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as an Employee Benefits Administrator.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Group Personal Pensions (GPP)
    • Group Income Protection (GIP)
    • Death in Service (DIS)
    • Private Medical Insurance (PMI)
    • Auto-Enrolment Pension Schemes
  • Experience using flexible benefits platforms.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with clients and providers.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple schemes and competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Desirable

  • Face-to-face client experience.
  • Experience within a regulated financial services or employee benefits environment.
