Financial Planning Analyst – Sheffield

You’ll be part of a collaborative technical support function, working closely with advisers to deliver high?quality financial planning analysis, research and client?ready documentation. If you enjoy digging into the detail, producing accurate work, and being a key part of the advice process, this is a brilliant opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • New business: evaluating client objectives, carrying out due diligence, research and analysis, completing technical calculations (pensions, CGT, IHT, income tax), producing client presentation documents and suitability reports.

  • Pipeline management: overseeing provider illustrations/applications, monitoring new business through to completion, client fee checks, liaising with clients at completion stage.

  • Client reviews: pre?meeting analysis, post?meeting completion work, producing review letters.

  • Client administration: maintaining Intelligent Office records, updating client information, obtaining and evaluating provider data, liaising with clients and providers.

  • General support: handling day?to?day provider/client correspondence, working closely with managers and advisers, actioning technical and administrative requests.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years’ experience in financial services (essential).

  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance (essential).

  • Background in senior administration or paraplanning (essential).

  • Part or fully Diploma qualified (essential).

  • Experience with private wealth, business owners, corporate clients, trusts or group schemes (desirable).

  • A proactive, analytical mindset and a commitment to delivering high?quality work.
