Location: Barnsley Salary: Up to £40,000 Overview
We are supporting a well?established financial planning firm seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. This is a key technical role supporting advisers with high?quality research, analysis and report writing.
Key Responsibilities

Technical research across pensions, investments and protection

Cashflow modelling and scenario analysis

Preparing suitability reports, recommendations and supporting documentation

Liaising with providers and internal teams to gather information

Ensuring all advice meets compliance and regulatory standards

Supporting advisers with preparation for client meetings

Contributing to process improvements within a small, collaborative team
Experience & Qualifications

Experience in a paraplanning role is essential

Ideally Diploma qualified (Level 4)

Part?qualified candidates considered with minimum two exams passed (three preferred)

Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments
-
High attention to detail and confident working independently
Salary & Package

Up to £37,000–£40,000 for more technical or experienced hires

Study materials and first exam paid

Two days’ study leave per exam (first sitting)

£500 salary increase per exam passed

4x death?in?service (after six months)
