The Role
The Paraplanner will work closely with advisers and administrators to support the full financial planning process, ensuring high-quality technical output and a smooth end-to-end client journey. You will be responsible for producing suitability reports, undertaking technical research, and supporting the preparation of client meetings and reviews.
This is a fully office-based role, working closely alongside advisers and administrators to maintain strong communication, consistency, and team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed suitability reports and technical research to support adviser recommendations
- Work closely with advisers to review client circumstances and financial planning needs
- Produce review packs, valuations, and client meeting documentation
- Support complex case work including pensions, investments, and protection
- Liaise with providers to obtain policy information and ensure accurate data
- Ensure all work meets regulatory and internal compliance standards
- Collaborate closely with administrators to ensure efficient workflow and client service
About You
- Diploma qualified (or close to completion, with strong progress through RO exams)
- Experience within a paraplanning or senior IFA administration role
- Strong technical understanding of financial planning, pensions, and investments
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
- Confident working in a fast-paced, office-based environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with advisers
