IFA Administrator – Wealth Management
Location: Hove, East Sussex
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000
Working Pattern: Full-time, office-based (hybrid – 3 days in office after 6-month probation)
We are recruiting for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a well-established wealth management firm in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex. This role sits within the firm’s IFA/Wealth Builder team, supporting advisers who work with lower-AUM clients and provide more telephone-based advice.
This is a busy, varied position ideal for someone with solid IFA administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting advisers end-to-end.
The Role
You will provide full administrative support to the Wealth Builder Advisers and Head of Wealth Builder, ensuring new business, reviews and platform activity are processed accurately, compliantly, and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing new and top-up business through provider platforms
- Checking adviser submissions for full compliance requirements
- Updating the back-office system and uploading all relevant documentation
- Working with multiple provider platforms to:
- Add expectations for new monies
- Process fund switches
- Buy and sell funds
- Implement client payments
- Supporting an ongoing platform migration project
- Booking annual review meetings into adviser diaries and preparing meeting packs
- Supporting advisers with client meeting preparation, including contacting third-party providers
- Handling inbound client calls and emails, including overflow reception calls
- General administrative duties and ad-hoc project support
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IFA or wealth management administration role
- Strong experience dealing with provider platforms
- Confident working in a busy, team-based office environment
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Clear and professional communication (written and verbal)
- Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- High attention to detail and strong compliance awareness
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
