We are working with a high-performing, growing wealth management firm based in Leatherhead that is looking to hire a capable and technically minded Client Support Executive / Junior Paraplanner.
This is a hybrid support role combining high-quality client servicing with technical paraplanning exposure, including report writing, cashflow modelling and tax-efficient planning. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with solid wealth management experience who wants to step further into the technical side of financial planning while still remaining close to clients and advisers.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers, owning key elements of the client journey, and contributing to the technical preparation of advice. This is not a pure administration role – there is genuine scope to develop paraplanning capability and progress further within the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a professional and seamless service
- Supporting advisers with analysis, research, and preparation of suitability reports
- Assisting with cashflow forecasting, tax allowance planning and client reviews
- Preparing and maintaining accurate client records and documentation
- Leading aspects of client onboarding and ongoing servicing
- Using Intelliflo Office (IO) and Voyant to support advice delivery
- Working closely with advisers on case progression and recommendations
- Supporting compliance requirements and maintaining FCA-aligned processes
- Contributing to process improvements and team development
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within a wealth management or financial planning environment
- Ideally Level 4 Diploma qualified, but will consider part-qualified candidates with RO exams completed
- Strong working knowledge of Intelliflo Office
- Experience using Voyant (or similar cashflow software) preferred
- Confident with numbers, analysis and technical documentation
- Highly organised, detail-driven and able to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills with a professional client-focused approach
- Keen to progress technically and develop a long-term career in financial planning support
What’s On Offer
- £35,000 – £42,000 salary, depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 5% employer pension contribution
- Critical illness cover, income protection & death-in-service (post-probation)
- Full exam and qualification support
- Structured CPD and clear progression pathway
- Regular team socials and supportive company culture
- Long-term development within a stable, ambitious firm
If you’re looking for a client-facing support role with genuine technical exposure and progression into paraplanning, this is a standout opportunity within a respected wealth management business.
