Paraplanner – £45,000
Location: Horsham (Office-based)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a highly organised and technically strong Financial Paraplanner to join our expanding team in Horsham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paraplanner who enjoys detailed analytical work, collaborating closely with advisers, and helping deliver exceptional financial planning for clients.
You’ll be supporting a team of five advisers, preparing high-quality reports, conducting research, and ensuring all advice recommendations are fully compliant and technically accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed financial plans, suitability letters, and investment reports
- Analyse a wide range of client data including assets, liabilities, pensions, insurance & investments
- Produce retirement projections, cashflow models and insurance analyses (Voyant used)
- Conduct product and fund research to support adviser recommendations
- Draft suitability letters for: pension transfers, investments, bonds, trusts and more
- Ensure all recommendations meet FCA and internal compliance standards
- Maintain accurate CRM records and planning system updates
- Provide general support to advisers when needed
Experience & Skills Required
- Previous paraplanning experience within an IFA or wealth management firm
- Strong knowledge of a broad range of financial planning products
- Confident determining the advice journey and structuring recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
