A highly respected and long-established financial planning firm based in the City of London is seeking a Technical Associate (Senior Paraplanner) to join its growing team. With over 25 years of success, a client base built through referrals, and a large amount of assets under management, this is a business known for delivering genuinely high-quality advice and building long-term, trusted relationships with high-net-worth individuals.

The business is based in state-of-the-art offices in the heart of the City, offering a modern and impressive working environment, alongside a hybrid working model. There is a clear commitment to professional development, with full support towards Chartered status and genuine long-term progression opportunities as the firm continues to grow.

What the role offers:

Working closely with experienced Senior Financial Planners, you will…

  • Play a key role in supporting complex cases and high-net-worth clients
  • Carry out detailed research and analysis
  • Prepare high-quality suitability reports and contribute to the delivery of tailored financial planning strategies
  • Gain exposure to sophisticated planning areas including pensions, investments, tax and cashflow modelling, making this an excellent opportunity to deepen your technical expertise

This opportunity offers far more than a typical technical role. You’ll be joining a firm that places real emphasis on doing things properly – from the depth of its advice to the strength of its client relationships. The environment is professional, collaborative and supportive, with a clear focus on continuous improvement and technical excellence rather than sales-driven targets.

What they’re looking for:

This role would suit a technically strong Paraplanner who holds the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and has experience working with high-net-worth, complex clients and technical work.

Someone who is looking to build their career within a high-quality, advice-led environment, working with a sophisticated client base and alongside experienced professionals.

Company benefits include:

  • PMI, Bupa cash plan, long-term sick pay
  • Additional healthcare benefits
  • Enhanced paternal leave
  • Workplace nursery benefit
  • Gym discounts, alongside many other discounts with Perkbox
  • Free breakfast
  • Annual company events

If you are looking for a role where you can develop your technical capability, be part of a respected firm, and contribute to delivering meaningful financial advice, this is an excellent opportunity to consider.
