About the Role
As a Trainee / Junior IFA Review Adviser, you’ll deliver high-quality financial reviews to a broad range of existing clients. All meetings are conducted by phone or Teams – no face-to-face visits and no cold calling. Your diary is fully booked for you from the start, allowing you to focus on providing great client outcomes.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Conducting 2–3 client review meetings per day, gathering full ‘know your client’ information.
- Analysing client circumstances to provide suitable, compliant recommendations.
- Presenting advice clearly, including fees, risks, and rationale.
- Completing required documentation, checklists, and suitability summaries (with paraplanning support).
- Maintaining accurate client records on Intelligent Office.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent service and consistent compliance standards.
- Keeping up to date with CPD requirements and maintaining your SPS.
Training, Support & Development
You’ll receive an exceptional structured development programme:
- 3-week induction: training, role-play, case studies, assessments.
- Ongoing daily support with buddying, live call supervision, and two advisers checking early cases before QA.
- CAS sign-off typically achieved within 4 – 6 months.
- Clear progression routes into DB/corporate advice, paraplanning or senior adviser roles as experience builds.
- Regular monthly team days and ongoing professional development.
This is a high-volume but highly supported environment – perfect for someone who learns quickly and enjoys structure.
About You

- Strong telephone manner and confidence with clients.

- Solid attention to detail and willingness to be coached.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable with remote work and collaboration via Teams.
Desirable:
- Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards it).
- Experience with Intelligent Office (not essential).
