A well?established and forward?thinking IFA firm in Marlow is entering its next phase of growth and reshaping its internal structure. As part of this evolution, the business is now seeking its first ever Head of Financial Advice – a brand?new leadership role designed to elevate adviser performance, strengthen client outcomes, and support long?term strategic development.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence and shape the advice function from day one.
The Role
As Head of Financial Advice, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s advisers and ensuring high?quality, consistent client delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the adviser team and their ongoing development
- Managing PDPs, workflows, and overall advice?quality processes
- Providing guidance, mentoring and supervision across the advice function
- Supporting client delivery where needed (not a full client?load role)
- Working closely with leadership as the firm continues to restructure and grow
This role blends leadership, supervision, and light client engagement – ideal for someone ready to step into a senior strategic position.
Who We’re Looking For
- An experienced Financial Adviser with several years of advisory experience
- Ideally Chartered, or with significant high?level advice experience to support adviser development
- Someone who may be looking to step back from full-time advising and move into a leadership/management role
- A strong communicator with the ability to coach, supervise, and elevate adviser performance
- Confident working in an evolving environment where you can help shape processes from scratch
The firm is also open to considering alternative profiles if you can clearly demonstrate capability in advice oversight, mentoring, and high?quality client delivery.
