Are you a Diploma?qualified Financial Adviser with strong knowledge of workplace pensions and employee benefits? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable and growing Employee Benefits team in Sittingbourne, helping employees across major corporate businesses make better financial decisions.
We’re looking for someone who is confident delivering 1:1 guidance, running presentations, and breaking down complex financial topics into clear, understandable language. If you’re passionate about educating people, providing impartial guidance, and improving financial wellbeing in the workplace – this role is for you.
The Role
As an Employee Benefits Financial Adviser, you’ll work directly with employees to help them understand and optimise their workplace benefits. You’ll deliver structured one?to?one sessions, financial wellbeing presentations, and produce high?quality educational materials that simplify complex subjects like pensions, tax, investments, and allowances.
Your responsibilities will include:
1:1 Employee Sessions
Covering areas such as:
- Workplace pension optimisation and DC scheme guidance
- Pension consolidation
- Targeting pension and investment goals
- Mortgage efficiency and wider financial planning
- ISAs, protection policies, NS&I and savings vehicles
- Annual Allowance and tapering calculations
- Retirement planning strategies
Workplace Presentations & Education
- Group presentations and webinars on financial wellbeing
- Communicating pension changes, scheme switches and enhancements
- Supporting benefit rollouts including Salary Sacrifice
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Producing clear, employee?friendly educational materials
- Maintaining accurate, compliant advisory records
- Updating internal systems after every interaction
- Supporting the creation of an online financial education library
What You Need
Qualifications:
? CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) – essential
Experience:
- Strong understanding of workplace pensions & DC schemes
- Knowledge of pension consolidation, annual allowances, investments, ISAs, protection and mortgages
- Experience giving regulated financial guidance or advice in a client?facing setting
- Comfortable presenting to groups and delivering webinars
- Able to create clear, accessible financial education materials
- Used to maintaining compliant advisory records

- Excellent communicator – able to translate complex topics simply
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly
- High attention to detail and analytical ability
- Professional, ethical, and client?focused
- Confident delivering presentations and leading discussions
- Able to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively
