Are you a qualified Financial Adviser / IFA looking to join a respected national firm with a strong support structure and a client-first approach? We’re working with a leading UK-wide financial planning company with multiple offices, currently seeking a Financial Adviser to join their team in Somerset.
You will be acquiring an existing client book to service, have the opportunity to grow your own new business, and transfer over any of your own existing clients.
The Opportunity:
You’ll be delivering holistic financial planning to both new and existing clients, offering tailored solutions that align with their goals. With access to a strong client base, paraplanning and admin support, and a collaborative team environment, this is a fantastic opportunity for an adviser who wants to focus on quality advice and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive fact-finding and risk profiling
- Deliver personalised financial planning across pensions, investments, tax, and protection
- Manage and review client relationships in line with service standards
- Generate new business opportunities and support firm-wide growth
- Collaborate with paraplanners, administrators, and compliance teams
- Maintain accurate, compliant client records and documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Chartered or working towards Level 6 preferred)
- CAS status and current SPS
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a financial advice role
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, tax planning, and protection
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills
- Experience with Intelligent Office (IO) is desirable
