Are you a technically strong Paraplanner looking for a collaborative, client-focused role with a healthy work-life balance? A well-established IFA firm in Marlow is seeking a mid-to-senior level Paraplanner to join their growing team.
The Opportunity:
You’ll work in a dedicated pod structure (1 Adviser, 1 Paraplanner, 1 Administrator), supporting an experienced Chartered Adviser and focusing on high-net-worth clients. This is a career paraplanner role, not a stepping stone into advice, ideal for someone who enjoys being client-facing and technically involved without the pressure of sales or new business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and support client meetings alongside advisers
- Conduct in-depth research and write detailed suitability reports
- Perform cashflow modelling and technical analysis
- Collaborate closely with administrators (no admin duties required)
- Maintain accurate records using industry-standard platforms
About You:
- Level 4 qualified (or close to completion with a strong commitment to finish)
- Experienced in a paraplanning role, ideally within an IFA environment
- Confident, self-sufficient, and adaptable to change
- Friendly, professional, and a strong team player
- Comfortable in a client-facing capacity
