We’re working with a well-established and growing independent financial planning firm looking to add an experienced Paraplanner to its technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative business where you’ll work closely with Financial Advisers, providing high-quality technical support and playing a key role in delivering outstanding client outcomes.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you’ll be responsible for conducting technical research, preparing detailed suitability reports, carrying out cashflow modelling, and supporting advisers across a broad range of financial planning cases. You’ll be involved in pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning, ensuring all recommendations are accurate, compliant and tailored to clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality suitability reports.
  • Conduct technical research and product analysis.
  • Prepare cashflow models and financial planning reports.
  • Work closely with Financial Advisers to develop client recommendations.
  • Liaise with providers and the administration team to ensure a smooth client journey.
  • Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
  • Support ongoing client reviews and complex financial planning cases.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm.
  • Diploma qualified (Level 4) or working towards Chartered status.
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Experience using industry systems such as Intelligent Office, Intelliflo, Voyant, FE Analytics or similar would be advantageous.
