The Role
As a DB Financial Adviser, you’ll focus on in-depth retirement and defined benefit advice, working with corporate and scheme-based clients. Unlike high-volume review roles, this position allows you to spend meaningful time with clients and deliver high-quality, compliant advice.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conducting approx 8 longer advice meetings per week (approx. 1.5 hours each).
- Providing detailed retirement planning and DB advice.
- Preparing recommendations with the support of an experienced paraplanning team.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues via Teams and structured processes.
- Maintaining high-quality client records and meeting all compliance requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Typically 3-4 years’ experience within DB/retirement advice.
- Strong understanding of pensions, transfers, and technical advice processes.
- Confident in leading longer, more detailed client discussions.
- Highly organised, diligent, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
- A team player who contributes to a supportive, collaborative culture.
