About the Role
As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with Financial Advisers to provide technical research, analysis, and report writing support. You will play a key role in the financial planning process, ensuring that all recommendations are accurate, suitable, and fully compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and compliant suitability reports
- Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, and financial planning solutions
- Analyse client financial data and existing arrangements
- Support advisers in developing tailored financial planning strategies
- Ensure all documentation meets FCA and internal compliance standards
- Assist with retirement planning, tax planning, and investment cases
- Liaise with product providers and external parties where required
About You
- Experience in paraplanning or a financial services support role preferred
- Working towards or holding Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (desirable)
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements
- Able to manage workload and meet deadlines effectively
