We’re looking for a detail?driven, analytical Paraplanner who enjoys technical work, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about supporting advisers in producing accurate, compliant and high?quality financial plans. You’ll be joining a strong business support team where career development, high standards and progression towards Chartered status are fully encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out comprehensive financial analysis to support financial planning recommendations
- Gather, review and organise client financial information (assets, liabilities, income, expenditure)
- Use financial planning software to run cashflow models and scenario planning
- Prepare and review detailed investment proposals, suitability reports and recommendations
- Conduct research on products, providers and investment solutions
- Collaborate closely with advisers to support personalised financial strategies
- Stay up to date with financial markets, regulatory changes and industry trends
- Maintain accurate, compliant client records and documentation
- Ensure all advice meets FCA and company compliance standards
- Support complaint logging procedures and maintain complete correspondence records
- Take ownership of ongoing professional development and attend training when required
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (CII or equivalent) – desire to work towards Chartered status welcomed and supported
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience within an IFA, financial planning or wealth management environment
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments, personal tax, protection and estate planning
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial information
- Confident determining the advice journey and structuring recommendations
- Experience using financial planning/back-office systems such as Genovo or Intelliflo Office
